More than meets the eye..

So several people of late have reminded me that I’ve been woefully lacking in the blogging department.  What can I say except that my life has been CRAZY.  In fact, I’m typing this blog on an airplane going to NYC (my second trip in as many weeks flying to Cali and Houston in between) to say my final good-bye to the Bank of New York.  My department is going bye-bye having been merged into a larger company as part of the Bank’s strategy.  I’m not sad b/c everybody in my department has been ready for retirement so it’s not a sad time.

So just like Transformers, I’m more than meets the eye.  But let’s talk about the Transformers.  This is the movie I’ve been waiting for for the summer!!!  Hot dang, I have high expectations and as my new friend reminded me, I might be setting myself up for great disappointment.  I saw the trailer and I got hyped!!!  AMPED!!!  So I hope I’m not disappointed.  I’m going to see it on Monday, so I’ll let you know.

I’ve been a fan for a long time.  I remember the year when I was 8 and for Christmas I got both My Little Ponies and Transformers.  I’ve always been a combination of things.  Comes from my Libra influence and being a masculine planet ruled by a woman – Venus.

Let’s see.  Work is going great.  I’m learning so much everyday that I think my brain might go on strike.  For the holiday I’m not doing anything lounging around with the kittens.  Speaking of kittens in another month they won’t be kittens anymore.  They’ll be cats, or at least eating normal cat food anyway.  I do have to post some pictures of them because they’ve gotten so cute and so big.

So I wrote the above on 6/28 and now it's 7/9.

I'm having an existential crisis.  So many thoughts going through my head mostly around my self-awareness and the me I want to be in the future.  I had a great weekend, spending time having intellectually challenging conversations, relaxing bbq's and some wicked pong and beirut with friends.  A perfect weekend.

And I saw Transformers.  Stupid Michael Bay didn't want to direct a "stupid toy movie" so he focused on the humans when the story of the aliens was so much better.  That being said the transformations are dope and I did enjoy it.
