His name is Prince...

First of all, let me say thanks to all the love I've been getting in recent days! I've been busy I know.

Anyway, so before I went to the club on Friday in DC I went to the Prince concert.

All I can say is DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!!

The concert was off the chain!!!! ok, to the hateration of men who think prince is gay b/c he wears heels and flouncy shirts - let me tell you Prince keeps more women open and ready with his little ass then you will ever hope to get!!! He had us all open!

The concert was fabulous. He did a lot of his standards in new and funky ways. He also did some covers which were unexpected but he had such a great band. And on his guitar playing skills. That man is SICK! He has skills on the guitar that I haven't heard from anybody! Just sick!

He rocked the hell out of the funk! Let's start a campaign to bring back funk!

We want the funk! We want the funk.

My only two downsides in the concert were that unlike the NYC concert Morris Day and Sheila E werent there and that he shortened Adore which is probably my favorite Prince song. He didn't do the part at the end where he is talking!

I did get my copy of his new album which, ok, I admit, I haven't listened to. Instead I've been listening to my Stevie Wonder at the close of a decade which is suiting me right about now.

Ok, now that I've covered that let's talk about the Olympics. I am sorry, but the American Women's Gymastics team is not like the teams of yesteryear. These gymnists just don't excite me like some of the women four years ago. And definitely not like the Romanians. The Romanians are SMOKIN!!! Those girls are on fire and they look like they are just getting warmed up! i know we came in second in the team so I can't wait to watch tonight to see if we made a come up!
